A trail guide in Moab told me my tire pressure was all wrong for sand, and it changed how I air down
I was running 18 psi in my 33s on the Fins and Things trail and kept digging in on the sandy spots. A guide named Rick pulled up next to me and said "youre plowing, not floating, drop it to 12" and I did and it felt like a different truck. What psi are you all running in sand versus rocks, or do you just leave it?
Man that feeling when your rig suddenly wakes up after airing down more is the best. Had the same thing happen to me in Glamis, dropped from 15 to 10 and it was night and day. Been running lower ever since, sand eats you alive at high psi.
