Tried the chalk trick on my trailer plug at Hollister Hills and it actually worked
Kept getting a dead brake light on my trailer every time I hit the trails at Hollister Hills, drove me nuts for 3 weekends. A guy at the air down station said to rub plain chalk on the connector pins, plug it in, then pull it apart and see where the chalk rubs off. Found the one pin that was barely making contact in about 2 minutes, bent it back and no more flicker. Why does nobody teach this stuff at the parts counter?
