A client told me "nobody reads ads anyway" and I've been stewing about it for 2 days
Was grabbing coffee with a business owner in Denver last week and he casually dropped that line about nobody reading ads, then went right back to talking about his weekend. It bugged me because this is a guy paying for ads, so I asked what he meant and he said his own feed is all skippable stuff he never looks at. That got me thinking about how much of what we make gets tuned out before it even loads, and honestly I don't blame people for skipping. How are you all dealing with clients who say stuff like this, do you push back or just nod and rework the copy?
