Client asked for 'one small change' at 4:45pm on a Friday and I'm still rebuilding the whole deck
Three weeks ago a guy from a regional bank approved our final campaign deck for a big rollout in Dallas. Friday at 4:45pm he Slacks me that they want to swap the hero image and 'just tighten the copy.' That one small change blew up every asset size, forced a reshoot in Plano, and pushed the whole launch two weeks. Our media buy was already locked, so now I'm eating a $6,800 make-good while the client acts like I'm the one who messed up the timeline. How do you all handle late Friday requests without just saying yes and ruining your weekend?
