Had to pick between a local print shop and a big online vendor for a client's flyers last month

The local guy wanted 300 bucks for 5,000 flyers while the online place was half that... but the local guy could turn them around in 2 days. I went with the local shop and honestly the paper quality blew the online stuff away, client loved them. Has anyone else found that saving a few bucks on print just isn't worth the hassle?

...and that's exactly what I tell everyone who tries to cheap out on printing. You get what you pay for, and that online place probably ran your job on the thinnest paper they could find. Nothing worse than a flyer that feels like it's gonna rip just from looking at it wrong.

Read a review saying that cheap paper jams their copier every time.
