I finally replaced my gut-feel client pitches with a 5 slide template
Used to wing every pitch deck until 8 pm the night before, then scramble with typos in front of clients in Cleveland. Last March I built a simple 5 slide structure: problem, proof, plan, price, promise. Now I just swap out specifics per client and it cuts my prep from 6 hours down to 90 minutes. The real shift was tracking which slide lost people, my old 'wow factor' slide was dead weight 70% of the time. Has anyone else tried locking a fixed pitch flow, or do you still insist on custom decks every time?
