I thought those 'influencer' deals for a local brewery were just hype... until I saw the sales jump 40% in a quarter.

Isn't it wild how that works? I was the same way, totally wrote it off as just noise. My buddy runs a small bike shop and he did a few deals with local adventure accounts. He said his foot traffic doubled in like two months, mostly from people who saw a reel of someone riding one of his bikes on a trail. It completely changed my mind on the whole thing. The right person showing your product in a real way just hits different than an ad.

Totally makes sense lol. My dumb ass still scrolls past those reels like "who falls for this?" Meanwhile I'm probably the target audience.

Forget the big influencers. My cousin's pottery side hustle blew up cause a librarian with 2k followers kept showing her morning coffee in his mugs. It's the niche micro-communities that go crazy for a real person's stamp of approval.
