Just realized my client's 'quick logo tweak' turned into a full rebrand at 2 AM

Last Thursday I agreed to adjust a logo color for a bakery client in Denver, thinking it'd take 10 minutes tops. Six hours later I had redesigned their entire brand identity and ordered new mockup samples. Has anyone else had a client request spiral into something way bigger than expected?

Well that's not really a "quick logo tweak" if you're ordering mockups. That's a whole new project you signed up for without a contract.
