PSA: Tracking impressions vs reach in our last campaign saved 30% budget
We ran a 3-month campaign for a local shop in Portland and focused on reach instead of impressions after week 2, which dropped our cost per customer by 30%. Has anyone else seen better results by ignoring vanity metrics like that?

My buddy Dave runs a coffee shop in Eugene and he was throwing money at Facebook ads for months. He was obsessed with getting like 50k impressions a week but barely saw new faces. After I told him to check actual reach instead he cut his ad spend from $200 a week to like $140. The weird thing was his sales actually went up cause he was targeting a smaller radius around the shop. He showed me his spreadsheet and the cost per new customer dropped from $12 to like $7.50 over two months.
