Tested a weekly newsletter blast against a daily 3 line email and the daily crushed it by 60 percent
Ran a 6 week test for a small coffee roaster in Austin with two lists of 2,000 people each. List A got one long newsletter every Friday, list B got a short 3 line email every morning at 7am. The daily list opened 41 percent of the time, the weekly list opened 19. The daily list also drove $2,140 in sales, the weekly one did $830. I think it worked because the daily emails read like a text from a friend, just one product and one link, no banner images or fancy layout. We killed the newsletter for good after that. Curious if anyone else has tried this with a client in a different niche, does daily wear people out over time?
