Took me 3 weeks to realize my client briefs were the real problem
I kept spending hours on creative concepts that got rejected left and right. Finally tracked it back to the fact that I was building campaigns off verbal notes instead of written briefs. Has anyone else had to completely rework their intake process to save time?

Yeah verbal notes are the absolute worst, that was your first mistake right there. I learned that lesson the hard way too after a client said "oh I meant something totally different" three weeks into a project. Written briefs save you from those awkward conversations where you realize you wasted time on stuff nobody asked for. Just get everything in writing from the start, even if it feels like overkill.

Man, I've been there too, it stings every time.
