Warning: I tested a $200 Facebook ad budget and got zero sales
I run a small local bakery in Austin and thought Facebook ads would bring in more orders. Last month I spent exactly $200 on a targeted campaign for our new cupcake line. After a week of ads running, I got over 2,000 impressions but not a single sale. I learned my audience targeting was way too broad and I didn't use a proper landing page. Has anyone else tried Facebook ads for a local business and hit a wall like this?

Man, did you run that ad with a coupon offer or just the regular price?

You said "just the regular price" - were you running that as a flat rate or did you have any kind of discount code hidden somewhere? Because I've seen a lot of people claim they didn't use a coupon but then later find out their ad had a promo link attached to the image. If it was a straight price with no coupon, what was the cost per click looking like on that campaign?

People always find a hidden link or code when they dig through their ad settings.
