Went to an ad agency in Austin and saw the weirdest conference room setup

I visited a medium sized agency in Austin last week for a client meeting. Their main conference room had walls covered in those old school whiteboard paint but someone wrote "the brief is king" in giant red letters across one whole wall. Then I noticed they had no chairs at the main table just standing desks and yoga balls. The creative director told me they banned sitting down during pitch meetings to keep energy up. I spent 45 minutes trying not to roll off my yoga ball while they presented a campaign for a local barbecue chain. Has anyone else run into a weird office setup that actually worked or was it just a gimmick?

Ha! Sounds like a great way to make sure no one falls asleep during the meeting, just straight onto the floor instead.
