Just hit 1,000 cups brewed at home this year, kinda crazy

I started keeping track back in January on a little sticky note on my grinder. Yesterday I poured my 1,000th cup using my old French press and some beans from a local roaster in Portland. It surprised me because I thought I'd lost count or given up on it, but nope that number kept climbing. How do you guys track your coffee habits, or do you even bother?

Gotta call out the water temp thing though - unless you're brewing with a thermometer you're just guessing it stays consistent. I used to think I could eyeball it too but then I actually measured and realized I was way off most mornings.

That 1,000 cup mark is wild, I've never even thought to count that high. I'm curious though, did you notice any changes in how you brewed over those 1,000 cups? Like, did you grind finer or coarser as the months went on, or switch up your water temperature? I track my stuff on a plain notebook next to my scale, just the date, roast date, and my brew ratio, but I never look back at it. What made you stick with it on a sticky note instead of an app or something easier?
