The $18 coffee grinder that ruined my mornings... or saved them?
I picked up a cheap hand grinder at a flea market in Portland last Saturday, figured it'd be a fun experiment. It takes forever to grind beans, like 4 minutes of arm work, but the flavor is honestly brighter than my $200 electric one. The catch is, that time each morning makes me want to skip coffee entirely some days. Anyone else split between cheap gear that's tedious and pricey gear that's easy... where do you draw the line?

Have you tried timing the grind to a song or podcast, so the 4 minutes becomes part of your routine instead of wasted time? Once I started doing that with my manual grinder, the effort stopped feeling like a chore, it's just part of the morning now.
