The barista at the place on 5th called my order out wrong and I just went with it for 3 months
I go to this little spot on 5th St most afternoons and early on the guy misheard my name as Greg, so every cup said Greg. I never corrected him because the line was long and honestly I kind of liked it. Around week 6 I started answering to it without thinking, and one Tuesday a real Greg showed up confused about a drink he never ordered. Now I just write my own name on the cup with a sharpie before I hand it over, saves us both the trouble. Do you correct a wrong name or just become that person?
