Vent: pour over vs French press, I switched last month and now I can't decide
For 3 years I was a French press guy, then a coworker in Tacoma gave me his old pour over setup and I tried it for a week. The pour over gives me a cleaner cup but it takes 4 minutes of standing there watching water drip, while the press just sits and does its thing. Part of me wants to go back to the press for the lazy mornings, but the taste difference is real. Which one do you keep on your counter and why?
