Had to choose between a quick sign-off and doing the full check on a landing gear

The line was pushing to get the plane out fast, but I followed procedures and found a worn bushing. It delayed things but avoided a bigger problem later. How do you handle these gray area decisions?

Choose the quick sign off when the line is pushing. Delays cost real money and mess up flight schedules. In many shops, keeping things moving is just part of the job.

Seriously? @verawhite it feels like everyone acts like it’s THAT huge of a deal, but a small delay can't cost THAT much money.
