Hit 10,000 rivets installed today and my index finger is screaming

Been tracking my builds for the last 3 years and somehow crossed 10,000 rivets installed on a single project this morning. That's a lot of aluminum chips and cursing under my breath. Has anyone else ever kept a running count of something dumb like this or am I just bored?

Bro 10,000 rivets is like...are you building a 747 in your garage or something? I mean seriously, that's a lot of hardware for one project. My index finger hurts just reading this. It's cool that you keep track though, I guess if you're gonna do something you might as well know how many times you've cursed at it. But nah man, that's a bit obsessive even for a hobby build. You do you though.

I read somewhere that some of those old airship guys would do double that before lunch. Still sounds like a nightmare for your hands but at least you know it's built solid.

Nah I feel that though. I did a small camper rebuild once, maybe 800 rivets total, and by the end my hands were cramping up something fierce. Can't imagine ten times that, your forearms must be screaming.
