My logbook hit 1,000 sign offs and I did not see that number coming
I was flipping through my logbook last week at the hangar in Bakersfield and did a double take when I totalled up my sign offs. Turns out I crossed 1,000 entries back in March and never noticed, which is wild since my first 100 took almost two years. I think the jump happened after I stopped doing oil changes solo and started riding along on avionics jobs with a guy who let me sign off my own work. Seeing that number made me realize how much of the learning happened in the last 18 months compared to the first three years. How do you all keep track of your sign offs, do you tally them or just let the book fill up?
