That regional jet I took last month had a loose seat track, and no one cared
I pointed it out to the cabin crew, but they just shrugged. Mechanics should always double-check cabin fittings, not just the engines.

Loose seats are a big deal, they can cause injuries in turbulence. The crew shrugging it off is pretty bad, they should report it right away. Mechanics definitely need to check cabin parts, not just the big stuff. This kind of thing makes people lose trust in airlines. How do they expect passengers to feel safe if basic things are ignored?

Remember cabin crew fixes small stuff like that.

During turbulence on a JetBlue trip from New York to Florida, my seat slid forward an inch because it wasn't locked right. That's not just annoying, it's a real safety risk if we hit rough air and people get thrown around. Crew should log every fault, no matter how small, so mechanics can fix it right during turnaround. When they skip that, it shows a bigger problem with how airlines cut corners on cabin checks. Passengers see this, and it chips away at trust in the whole system over time. Airlines need to take cabin safety as seriously as engine checks, or people will stop feeling safe flying.
