Thought the 'no power tools' rule in the hangar was old man nonsense, then I torqued a panel by hand
When I started at the shop in Boise 5 years ago, the lead told me to pull inspection panels by hand and save the driver for hard stuff. I figured he was just stuck in his ways. Took me 2 months of stripped screws to get it. Now I sit on the fence. Power is faster, but hand feels every thread and I catch cross threads before they bite. Anyone else split on this, or am I just slow now?
