I finally noticed how much worse the animation got in One Piece after episode 450

I went back to watch a fight from the Skypiea arc last week and compared it to the Wano stuff, and the overuse of glowing auras and slow-mo really killed the punchy energy... does anyone else miss the old fluid style or is it just me?

You ever have a friend who swears by old Naruto fights? My buddy Mike used to argue that pre-timeskip One Piece was the peak. He actually dropped the show around episode 600 and never looked back. Last month he screen-shared a clip of Luffy vs Lucci from Enies Lobby, then one of the recent Zoro vs King fight from Wano. He just sat there quiet for a second, then said "look how they slow it all down now, it's like they're trying to make every hit feel like a big deal instead of just letting it flow." He hasn't watched a new episode since.
