My friend swore I had to watch dub over sub for Attack on Titan
Back when I first started Attack on Titan, my buddy Mark kept telling me the dubbed version was way better because you could focus on the action without reading subtitles. I listened to him for the first 12 episodes and honestly I felt like something was off with the voices, especially Eren's. Then last month I decided to rewatch from the start using subbed just to see the difference. The Japanese voice acting hit so much harder during the emotional scenes, like when Eren breaks down or when Levi gets serious. I went back and told Mark he was completely wrong and he got all defensive about it. Now I'm curious if other people have gotten bad advice from friends about which version to watch or if I'm just being picky about voice acting.

Nah, your buddy was right, dub lets you actually watch the show instead of reading it.

Wait, didn't @victorhill once tell me his friend fell asleep watching subs and woke up lost?
