PSA: Spent 4 hours trying to figure out the watch order for the Fate series
Kept hitting dead ends on wikis and old forum threads that contradicted each other. Anyone have a clear, no-spoiler guide they actually trust?

Yeah, the whole "start with Zero" advice is what got me too. I mean, I just gave up and watched a playthrough of the visual novel instead, idk.

Honestly, I think @nancythomas has it backwards, Zero ruins the big twists in Stay Night.

Honestly, I saw a video that said to just start with Fate/Zero. It's a prequel but it sets up the whole world in a straight line. Then you can move to Unlimited Blade Works. That order made sense to me when I finally tried it.
