Shoutout to my trick for keeping old anime forum chats from fading away

Honestly, back then we had whole sites just for breaking down each anime episode. Tbh, I started saving the best discussion posts as text files on my computer. Now with stuff moving so fast, those deep talks can get buried. Ngl, having my own archive lets me look back at cool fan ideas. It's a simple way to hold onto how we used to chat about anime.

Your trick of saving posts as text files got me thinking. I always thought old forum chats were just meant to fade away. Now I see keeping your own archive holds onto the smart fan ideas we had.

Save those text files before the next server wipe. Smart ideas don't have an expiration date.

Forums are meant to die off for a reason, @elliot_jenkins7. Holding onto every old comment just clutters up your brain with takes that were dated years ago. The constant churn of new ideas gets smothered if we're all just looking backward. Letting old chats fade actually forces communities to keep making new stuff instead of living in the past. Why would you even want a pile of text files from some 2008 thread?
