Showerthought: everybody treats power scaling like it's math with no room for context
Watched a guy argue that Goku loses to Saitama because his lifting strength maxed out at 40 tons in the Buu arc, but he forgot Goku literally punches holes through reality with Ki which is not the same as bench pressing, you know?

Yeah I used to think power scaling was just comparing numbers too, but that Goku example with ki stuff actually makes a lot of sense, sometimes context completely changes the argument.

Wait, is that really the same thing though? I mean, I used to think power scaling was basically just "my guy can lift a mountain, your guy can maybe lift a hill, so my guy wins." But after hearing people break down Goku's ki stuff, it totally shifts how you look at it. Like, context matters way more than I gave it credit for. It's not just about raw numbers or brute strength, you know? The way energy works in Dragon Ball really does change the whole comparison, and I honestly never thought about it that way until now.
