Showerthought: Why anime snobs annoy me so much

I was in a forum where people were trash talking a show I love. It makes me mad when fans act like their opinion is the only right one. Can we all just chill and talk about anime without the hate?

Look at it from their side. They might trash talk a show to point out bad writing or animation. Honestly, we need people like that to keep standards high.

Seriously? That attitude is why anime spaces get so toxic. Tearing down shows for "bad writing" usually means someone just didn't like the story. A show can have flaws and still be a great time.
