Spent $180 on a Crunchyroll subscription and it actually burned me on seasonal shows
I bought the yearly mega fan subscription back in January because I wanted to watch everything without ads. But now I feel like I have to watch every single new show to get my money's worth, and it makes anime feel like a chore. Last week I forced myself through 12 episodes of a boring isekai just because it was exclusive to the platform. It's like paying money actually made me enjoy anime less somehow. Has anyone else regretted locking into a big anime subscription?

12 episodes? Man I feel your pain though. I did the same thing with my Funimation subscription back in the day and ended up watching three terrible shows just because I didn't want to waste the money. It totally sucks the fun out of it when you feel like you have to justify every dollar. You're not alone on that one.
