Stuck on a sub translation for 3 hours and it was just a typo

I was trying to figure out why a line in this older anime made no sense in the subs. Turned out someone typed "ran" instead of "rain" and it changed the whole scene. Has anyone else spent way too long on a single translation error?

Doubt it's that big of a deal honestly, most people wouldn't even notice a difference in regular play. Unless it's game breaking for you @the_wyatt, I wouldn't stress about it.

Wait fans can fix those kind of issues just from the source code? That's wild. I remember finding a weird bug in a game once, and within like a week some random dude on a forum had patched it, worked way better than the official update too.
