A customer told me my dryer vent work was sloppy and now I use a different tool for every single connection

They pointed out a tiny gap at the clamp after I left and it took me 3 callbacks before I finally switched to those spring-loaded clamps instead of zip ties, has anyone else found a faster way to check your work before you pack up?

Is it bad that my first thought was "well at least I'm not alone in my bad decisions"? Because seriously, I did the same thing last month except I added a twist where I tried to fix it myself first and made it ten times worse. Ended up having to call a guy who charged me double just for the emergency visit and some new parts. My wallet is still crying about it and I think my car is judging me every time I get in.
