Found a dryer lint trap clogging trick at a rental in Phoenix
Last week I was fixing a dryer in a Phoenix rental that kept shutting off mid-cycle. Pulled the vent and found lint packed so tight it looked like felt, the homeowner said they cleaned the trap every load but never checked the actual duct. Took me 45 minutes to snake it out, and I'm wondering if any of you use a leaf blower attachment for this or stick with the brush kits?

That "packed so tight it looked like felt" line hit home for me. I had the SAME thing happen at my own place a few years back, dryer would run forever and clothes came out damp. I tried the brush kit first and honestly it was a NIGHTMARE, kept getting stuck on a bend in the duct. What finally worked was a leaf blower from the outside vent, but I had to tape a rag around the nozzle to get a decent seal and blasted it from BOTH ends. Took like 10 minutes total and a whole cloud of lint came flying out the front, but you gotta be careful not to blow it back into the machine if the duct is short. Ever since then I do the leaf blower trick every spring and the brush kit only for the last foot near the dryer.
