Hated replacing a capacitor on a tight deadline last Tuesday, went with a generic brand instead of OEM
Ngl I had a rush job on a 5-year-old Whirlpool dryer in a rental property and the OEM cap was gonna take 3 days to ship. I grabbed a generic one from the local supply house for $12 and got it running in 20 minutes. Has anyone else had issues with those generics long term or am I overthinking it?

Yeah I did the exact same thing with my old Whirlpool dryer last year and it's still running fine. I mean the generic cap was like half the price of OEM and honestly I can't tell the difference in performance. Saving money and getting the job done quick is a win in my book.
