Hit 500 completed dryer repairs without realizing it

Logged my 500th drum bearing replacement last Tuesday and only caught it when I flipped through my notebook. That number surprised me since I never keep count, just fix what comes in. Did anyone else pass a milestone that snuck up on them, or am I the only one who doesn't track that stuff?

Ugh, that's hilarious! Five hundred and you just stumbled into it like a dog finding a bone buried in the yard. I bet you'd forget your own birthday if the calendar didn't yell at you. I hit my 1,000th "customer says their dog is small but it's clearly a bear" last year, lost count at 42. Numbers are pointless when the next broken dryer is always lurking anyway, right? Maybe you should start signing the inside of every machine you fix, a little hidden milestone for the next guy.
