I thought those 'smart' diagnostic apps were a total gimmick until a Samsung fridge in a downtown loft stumped me for two days.

Still a gimmick most of the time.

Honestly, riley_miller25, have you tried one lately? My buddy's new LG washer had a weird drain error, and the app pinpointed a clogged filter in like two minutes. Saved him a service call. Sometimes they actually get the weird, specific stuff right.
