Newer Bosch dishwashers have a fatal flaw with the drain pump
Had a call last Tuesday in Portland. Lady said her Bosch was leaving standing water. Took me 5 minutes to find the issue. The new drain pump design uses a plastic impeller that warps when it gets hot. Customer said she ran 3 heavy cycles back to back. That melted the impeller blades down to nubs. Water just sits there. Old Bosch pumps were metal and lasted 15 years. These new ones fail inside 2 years. $180 part plus labor. Has anyone else seen this pattern with the 2022 and newer models?

Yeah, "plastic impeller warping" is exactly what I saw on a 2023 model last month.
