Watched a 12 year old dryer go from shaking like a paint mixer to dead quiet after I pulled 3 pounds of lint out of the blower wheel
Customer in Bend called me out because her dryer was walking across the laundry room floor and howling. I popped the front panel, and the blower wheel was packed solid with a lint blanket you could have cut with a knife. Chucked it in the trash, vacuumed the housing, and the thing ran so smooth she thought I swapped in a new machine. Any of you ever weigh that junk out of curiosity, or is it just me who wants to know how much lint a dryer can hold?
