Had one of those perfect days on a removal job in July, everything just clicked

Last summer I was scheduled to take down a big silver maple in a tight backyard in the suburbs. I showed up at 6am, no traffic, and the homeowner had already cleared the path and marked the gas line. The whole thing took about five hours with zero snags, which never happens for me. By 1pm I had the stump ground and the brush cleaned up, and the client handed me $750 in cash plus a cold Gatorade. What's the best single job you've had start to finish without any hiccups?

How much extra would you charge for THAT kind of luck?

There's something about those rare smooth days that makes you wonder if the universe balances out all the chaos... like how sometimes you'll hit every red light on the way to a job, other times every one turns green just as you approach. It's the same with people too, some weeks everything goes wrong and then one day a client just hands you a cold drink and says thanks. Makes me think most of the bad stuff is just background noise for those few perfect moments.
