Last Tuesday, my friend Mark pitched his app idea with rough sketches on paper. His team just kinda shrugged and didn't get it. So he spent one evening putting together a simple video with some icons and screen mockups. When he showed that video the next day, the whole room's energy changed and they greenlit it right away. He said without those basic visuals, his idea would have been dead in the water.

That's so true, @the_jordan. It's like the visuals give people something to grab onto with their brains, not just their ears. Makes the whole idea feel real.
