That city inspector who told me my climber's knot was 'wrong' still bugs me

Back in March I was doing a removal on a big oak near the courthouse in Salem, Oregon. This inspector walks up mid-climb and starts yelling that my Blake's hitch was a liability, even though it's been solid for 12 years. He made me switch to a distel on the spot and took photos of my gear like I was doing something shady. Has anyone else had to deal with an inspector who's clearly never tied a knot under load before?

Read a tree service forum where a guy in Ohio had the same thing happen. Inspector made him re-tie every rigging line over a parking lot.
