Tried a new stump grinder rental in Tacoma and it cost me half a day
Rented a 'Turbo-Cut 5000' from a new place last week for a big maple stump. The thing kept bogging down and the safety switch was super touchy, had to stop every ten minutes. Wasted about four hours of crew time trying to make it work, which is easily $600 down the drain. Anyone have a rental spot or a specific model they trust for hardwoods around here?

Did you see garcia.tyler's buddy had the same issue with that model?

That model must have a real design flaw if it's hitting multiple people. I remember @garcia.tyler saying his buddy's unit completely died after just three weeks. Seems like a bad batch or something they never fixed.
