Hit 50 verified Roman coins on eBay last week without spending over $5 each

I've been collecting Roman bronze coins for about 3 years now, mostly shopping after midnight on eBay auctions nobody bids on. Last week my count hit exactly 50 pieces, all bought for under $5 each including shipping. The milestone mattered because it proved you don't need thousands of dollars to build a solid collection of late empire coins from Constantine to Honorius. Has anyone else had luck sniping cheap coins from sellers who don't know what they have?

50 coins under $5 each is basically the same principle as buying mismatched socks at the discount bin - people overlook the cheap stuff, but it all adds up to something real if you're patient.
