The Roman road under the parking lot in York had me staring for 20 minutes

I was in York last month and walked past this random car park, turns out they've got a chunk of original Roman road just sitting there under a glass panel. The wheel ruts worn into the stone from carts 1,800 years ago blew my mind. Anyone else find public spots like that more impressive than the big museum pieces?

The wheel ruts got me too, found some in Chester last year and just stood there staring.
