They're grading land by the river and no one is watching for artifacts

Honestly, I live right near the creek and the big machines showed up this morning. Tbh, my grandpa always said that area was full of old camp sites from way back. Ngl, I saw them dumping dirt piles and it made me sick thinking what might be in there. A friend found a perfect arrowhead there just a few months ago. If they keep going, stuff like that will be gone for good. We need to call the county and ask for an archaeologist to take a look. Can we all push for a survey before it's too late?

Not sure it's that big a deal. Lots of places have old stuff, but most gets moved around anyway. Calling can't hurt, though.

The British Museum has entire rooms of relocated Egyptian artifacts. So yeah, most historical items aren't in their original spot anymore.

Ever think about where these things should really be? I used to not care much, but hearing about all those Egyptian rooms actually changed my mind.
