A neighbor told me my walkway lights were too bright and she was right
I put in 6 of those little solar path lights along my front walk back in April, and I was pretty proud of them until my neighbor Deb stopped me at the mailbox. She said they were so bright she could read a book on her porch at 10pm and that it made her feel like she was in a parking lot. I didn't love hearing it, but the next night I walked out front and yeah, it was a lot. So I swapped the 4 that face her house for warm bulbs at 2700K and left the busy ones pointed at the street instead. Now she waves at me again instead of squinting, and honestly the whole front looks better at night. Has anyone else had a neighbor say something blunt about your outdoor lighting, and did you change it or just let it ride?
