Got yelled at by a crossing guard at Lincoln Elementary last Tuesday

I was just trying to drop my kid off at school like I've done for the past two years. The crossing guard lady screamed at me for stopping two feet past the crosswalk line. I didn't even realize I was doing it wrong. Now I park an extra block away and walk my kid to the gate every morning. Has anyone else had a run-in with a school crossing guard that changed your whole drop-off routine?

My buddy down the street had this exact thing happen at a different school. He forgot to put his turn signal on in the drop off lane and the guard literally stepped in front of his truck and wouldn't move until he put it on. Took like three minutes with cars honking behind him. Now he shows up fifteen minutes early just to avoid that same guard.

Man that's rough, but @jake_wilson12's story about the turn signal guy is insane. Makes me wonder if these guards get special training on intimidation or something because the one at my daughter's school literally made a parent cry last spring over a broken taillight.
