Hot take: my street's recycling bins went from half full to overflowing in 3 months
When the city switched us to single stream recycling back in April, I figured we'd all toss more in. What I did not expect was that my whole block on Willow Street would go from putting out maybe 4 bins a week to 11 every pickup day. I asked the guy next door and he said it is way easier now that you don't sort anything, so people stopped being lazy about it. Has anyone else seen their neighborhood actually recycle more after a change like that, or did it fizzle out after a couple months?
