My basil plant went from scraggly to massive in 3 weeks
I bought a sad little basil plant from the grocery store for $3 and stuck it on my kitchen windowsill. after moving it to a bigger pot and giving it 6 hours of direct sun on the patio, it grew like crazy. the trick was pinching off the top leaves every few days to make it bush out. has anyone else had a plant suddenly take off after changing just one thing?

3 weeks was all it took for my pothos too. I had it in a dark corner of the bedroom for like a year just barely hanging on. Moved it to the bathroom windowsill where it gets that morning sun through the frosted glass and now it's trailing down over the shelf like crazy. Also stopped babying my aloe vera. Used to water it every few days cause I thought succulents needed constant love. Let it dry out for like 2 weeks straight and it popped out 3 new pups. It's wild how most plants just want you to back off and give them the right light.

Did you ever notice how small changes in one thing can totally shift everything else? It's like that with my coffee routine. Started grinding beans fresh instead of using pre-ground. Took my morning cup from okay to actually good. Same with watering my snake plant less often. Used to drown it. Now it's pushing out new leaves. Basil's the same way. One tweak, whole plant changes direction.
