My dishwasher leaked all over the kitchen floor Sunday night and a $4 part saved me a $600 repair bill
I was ready to call a guy in Plano to haul the whole thing away, but my neighbor Wanda told me to pull the bottom panel off first and sure enough a 4 dollar drain hose clamp had just come loose, so what did your appliance guy try to charge you for something you could fix yourself?
Small correction here, that clamp didn't cost 4 bucks, the whole drain hose kit with the clamp runs about 4 dollars at most hardware stores, but the clamp by itself is usually under a buck. Not trying to nitpick your win, because pulling that panel before calling anybody is the real lesson. How long did it take you to figure out which hose was the problem?
