The neighbor who told me to quit watering my lawn every day
I used to water the front yard every single morning until Mrs. Alvarez across the street said I was drowning the roots and making them weak. She pointed to her patch that only got water twice a week, and honestly it looked way greener than mine by June. Anyone else get stubborn advice from old-timers that turned out to be right?
